What are the problems encountered in the production of glass bottles?

To produce glass packaging products, the key raw materials are quartz, feldspar, etc., and the key fuel for firing glass is coal. In the process of ore mining, the ore recovery rate is generally maintained between 85% and 90%, and the remaining 10% to 15% of the ore can not be effectively utilized. The productivity of hard sandstone is very low, generally not more than 60%, and the comprehensive utilization rate of minerals is very low.

Take the consumption of coal for example. The total amount of coal consumed by China in producing the same amount of glass products is about twice that of foreign countries. In terms of electricity consumption, China’s electricity consumption is about 30% higher than that of foreign countries on average. China has a huge population base and a huge demand for glass packaging products. Therefore, the consumption of energy and resources in China is more amazing than that in foreign countries.
